31 single white Female

So I have been thinking about writing this blog for awhile. A person near and dear to my heart started hers a few days ago and got inspired to do mine.

I am not sure who will read it or does it even matter, but more of less for me. To write my thoughts down to go back and read weeks, months, or even years from now and see how my life has changed.

So who is Kimberly? I am a 31 year old Single female. I guess you can say I am a divorced female but that was so long ago I don’t even count it anymore. I am an only child that did not grow up with only child syndrome. However, I did win many games of candy land! I have a sense of humor and my mom says I should seriously do into standup comedy. For the time being I will stick to telling my funny experiences in this blog. I have a great career that consumes a lot of my life especially in the summer. However, my career has brought me to a whole different set of friends and what I consider my second family. I grew up in Little River, SC went to High school at North Myrtle Beach High School and attended the University of South Carolina Columbia. Growing up and going off to school near home I had the advantage of having most of the same friends all my life. Some you will get the chance to hear about in the blog. So any of my friends reading this.. WATCH OUT.. you are fair game! HA!

But most of all being 31 years old and single I have found myself not exactly where I thought I would be. I watch reruns of Sex and the City and see Carrie Bradshaw and how she looked for love and looked FABLOUS doing it. I mean the woman was 40 years old before Mr. Big finally came to his senses. But in the meantime she wore Chanel, lived in a rent controlled apartment in downtown NYC, went out every night, and stayed thin as a toothpick! During this time she wrote her column which eventually got published. She was the envy of every single girl. I wanted to do that! My 31 is definitely not Carrie Bradshaw! However, my life is pretty fabulous. I have a Great Family, Fabulous Friends, and a pretty dang um cool life.

So until that Mr. Right ( or Mr. Big) comes into my life.. stay tuned...
